Joseph Caccamise (born October 28,1952 in Rochester, New York) is an American Songwriter. Caccamise became interested in songwriting while attending San Francisco State University and The University of Southern California (USC). After graduation Caccamise was signed to a songwriting contract with Motown Records. While at Motown Caccamise, along with childhood friend Louis Johnson, wrote and arranged songs for such acts as Anita Baker and The Temptations. Later Caccamise collaborated with Pascal Languirand and the group Trans-X to create a string of Techno- Dance Hits in the 80's. Thru all of this Caccamise never gave up his jazz and r&b roots. Thru the 90's and right up until today Caccamise, along with guitarist/producer Larry McGee, has been writing and producing songs for such artist as Lonnie Liston Smith, Jean Carne, Norman Connors, George Benson, Brother to Brother and others.
