Jorge Azar is a Uruguayan artist painter, sculptor and activist. He has founded "Art for Charity". He exhibits outside the art gallery circuit, and normally produces no more than 10 to 12 works per year. Trademark paintings include "Striped Women Series", "Hope Series" and "Eyes Series". Azar is the creator of the Liquid Glass Technique over Acrylic Paint. Art for Charity Azar founded Art for Charity and is probably to this date one of the few well known artists worldwide who donates the complete proceeds of his works. Many charities and NGOs around the world have benefited in addition to United Nations and UNICEF. |
