Jonathan James Hartman (29) is a former youth pastor at the Salvation Army-Johnson County Corps Center of Hope in Greensboro, Indiana. In April, 2009, he was arrested for having sex with three 15-year-old girls over a period of three years, whom he met at the group's band. They would sometimes have sex at his Far-Southside home, but usually at the nondenominational Christian worship center. He got one of the girls pregnant and then encouraged her to have an abortion. He was dismissed as a youth pastor. While awaiting trial, he allegedly told another inmate that he's offer $50,000 and a gun for the other inmate to kill 13 people, including the girls, their families, and the 2-month-baby that had resulted from the sex.
