Jolt gum

Jolt gum is a chewing gum from the makers of Jolt Cola. It is meant to give energy and contains caffeine, guarana and ginseng. Two pieces contain the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee, with each piece containing approximately 45 mg of caffeine. This gum is strongly caffeinated, and thus should not be chewed by people with high blood pressure or heart problems. It comes in both spearmint and icy-mint flavors and has 12 pieces per pack. In 2006 it gave a $1000 scholarship to a girl who had been suspended from school for sharing a piece of Jolt Gum on the basis that it was ""a stimulant that has no other redeeming quality.".
