John "Johnnie" Baggan (November 25, 1888 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, USA - ?) was a minor league baseball outfielder and manager. Playing career His playing career spanned 14 seasons, from 1910 to 1924 (he did not play in 1911). He hit over .300 four times in a season, and he finished with a .280 career average in 1,673 games. In 6,369 at-bats, he had 1,782 hits - 278 of which were doubles, 88 were triples and 26 were home runs. Managing career In 1924, at the age of 36, Baggan was one of either two or three managers for the Marshall Indians. The Baseball Reference Bullpen says that he and Bugs Young managed the Indians, while Baseball Reference Minors claims that Pete Daniels managed for them as well. In 1925, Baggan was the manager for the Indians to start the season, eventually being replaced by Cecil Coombs.
