John William Whittleman, Jr. (born February 11, 1987 in Houston, Texas) is a retired Minor League Baseball first baseman. He was selected by Texas in second round (67th overall) in the 2005 draft, he attended high school at Kingwood (Texas) H.S. He was named the Clinton LumberKings team MVP for 2007. He is described as a "slugging first baseman", he also hit a home run in the 2008 Futures Game, a game that takes place prior to the Major League All-Star game featuring the best American players in the minor leagues vs. a team of the best minor leaguers from countries outside of the U.S. He retired in July 2012.
