John W. Daddono is a Palm Beach, Florida based entrepreneur. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he relocated to Palm Beach in 1996 to focus on the expansion of his international business, the International Boxing Organization (IBO). Daddono is the Chairman of the IBO which he founded in 1988. The IBO held it’s inaugural event in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 9, 1992. At 25 years of age Daddono was the youngest founder and Chairman of any world governing body throughout the history of the sport. This statistic still remains intact today. The IBO which coordinates and supervises World Championship Title fights is considered to be one of the most credible and prestigious sanctioning organizations in the industry today. The IBO is the only governing body that has developed its own computerized ranking system which ranks the Top 100 fighters in each of the 17 weight classes. The IBO is a privately owned Florida based corporation and has coordinated some of the sports largest boxing events including the Mike Tyson vs Lennox Lewis mega fight which took place June 8, 2002 in Memphis, Tennessee . The Tyson vs Lewis bout is the highest grossing heavyweight match in boxing history. John is also the CEO and COO of the Prize Fight Network. The Prize Fight Network is a full scale production, broadcast and distribution company which produces and distributes its own video content worldwide via live internet broadcasts as well as delayed television broadcasts for boxing and mixed martial arts events.
