John McAll (born 1960), is one of Australia's leading Jazz pianist/Composers having worked with Vince Jones ,Kate Ceberano, Nichaud Fitzgibbon, and Nina Ferro. Of eclectic skill base McAll has performed in Rock, Classical and Studio settings. One of the chief arrangers for the two highly succesful David Campbell Swing albums(see liner notes) he also is the pianist for "The David Chesworth Ensemble"( "bang on a can" 2001) which has achieved international Critical acclaim. John McAll works as musical director for Ross Wilson (go Bongo) Debra Byrne (With all my Heart) Nina Ferro (Recollections) and Eugene Hamilton. John McAlls CD "Black Money"(rec: NY aug 2007) has been described as versatile, mysterious, groove based and Innovative. |
