John Ferdinand Bockman

John Ferdinand Bockman (October 31, 1891 - April 28 1924) was an American police officer, and the only police officer to be killed in the line of duty in the town of Libby, Montana.

This employee, named Hill, managed to escape unharmed and report in town what had happened. Officer Bockman was then called from his home to investigate the disturbance.
