John J. Cardillo is an American syndicated talk radio host and television personality. The The John Cardillo show broadcasts from
Salem Media Group's WZAB in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, weekday mornings 7-10 AM EST, and is the only conservative morning drive program in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
John credits his rapid success in media to his outsider status. As a former street cop and business person, he looks at the world not through the eyes of a journalist, but through what he calls the “lens of reality.”
John began his career with the New York City Police Department in 1993. He later founded Sentinel, an investigative technology firm that discovered and removed sexual predators and terror fundraisers from large online communities. Sentinel’s client list included NewsCorp, Fox, Sony, AOL, and Disney. The nature of the business saw John immeresed in the political and legislative processes, as well as a frequent on-air subject matter expert.
In 2011 John transitioned from criminal investigations and analysis into the political space. He quickly became a highly sought after on-air commentator because of his “lens of reality” approach. It was then he realized his love and passion for on air media, pursued it as a career, and rapidly grew his audience and brand.
Glenn Beck said “John can crunch the numbers and find the original source. He can find where the fires are burning and who started the fires.” Dr. Drew Pinsky on whose HLN TV show John is a frequent guest panelist, says John is an “exceptional contributor” whose “passion jumps off the screen.”
Talkers Magazine named John one of their Heavy Hundred talk radio hosts of 2016.
