Term in Popular Culture, originating in the Simpsons in the EpisodeThe Last Temptation of Homer (see Moe's Tavern where an anonymous bar patron runs from the bar after Moe ridicules his name), the name (unabbreviated it is Joey Joe Joe Jnr Shabadoo) has evolved into a pop culture term of reference, such as John Galt, Nemo or John Smith, to give a name an imaginary person or character who is otherwise anonymous. There are thousands of examples, from exam questions featuring Joey Shabadoo as the protagonist in a hypothetical scenario, to anonymous posting on the internet. It is also generally regarded as the worst pseudonym one can adopt, stemming from its original use in the simpsons.
