Joey Rubino

Joey Rubino (born March 14, 1979) is a Personal Fitness Trainer in the Los Angeles, California area. He is also the Health and Fitness Correspondent for Cambio.com.
Career
Rubino is a certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, First Aider and Massage Therapist.
He has trained celebrity clients including Jordin Sparks, Demi Lovato, and The Jonas Brothers.(3)
In 2009, Rubino accompanied the Jonas Brothers World Tour across the United States, Canada, Europe and South America. During that time he worked with The Jonas Brothers, Jordin Sparks, and Honor Society.
His “goal in life is to try and help fight the obesity epidemic one person at a time”.
He is not a fan of refined sugar, and advocates eliminating it from your diet.
One unique way Rubino gets his message out is through the use of Twitter. His Twitter account has over 10,000 followers from many countries across the world; Rubino spends hours weekly answering fitness questions posed by his followers. His first tip was posted on April 24, 2009 and stated that “hot water with lemon is the best thing you can drink..Cleanses and hydrates your body”
Rubino joined Cambio.com as their Health and Fitness Correspondent on their official launch date, July 27, 2010. He shares Healthy Living and Fitness Tips through a weekly blog written for Cambio, as well as videos that can be found on the site under their ‘Shorts’ section.

Personal life
Joey Rubino was born in London, England, on March 14, 1979. Joey's interest in the field of Health and Fitness came in part from his personal experience of being overweight as a young teen. At age 14 he weighed over 190lbs. He lost the excess weight later in his teen years, easily getting results working by himself.. His favorite fitness activities include swimming and running.. Joey lives the healthy lifestyle he strives to share with others, and never drinks soda, hasn’t had a donut in 8 years, favors almond milk over cows milk, and does not eat red meat
He shares his home with a rescued tan brindle dog named Max, and a fish named Angel. Even though he lives in Los Angeles, the Yankees are his favorite baseball team.<ref name=Cambio />
