Joe Phoenix

Joseph Gales Luna, (born August 16, 1979), popularly known as "Joe Phoenix", is a Filipino radio DJ, songwriter, producer, manager and TV/Event host. Born in Manila, was in the later part based in Cebu City. Is a Physical Therapist by profession. Went on to further studies on Information Technology. Got involved with various performing artist as a child . Joe, as commonly called by his norm, rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s as the Host of his show in Ultimate Radio UR105, entitled after his own name, "the Joe Phoenix Show".
In August 2006, after a series of success up in the Industry, Joe Phoenix launched "Friday Night Acoustics on the Joe Phoenix Show", that featured local greats in the music industry. This made a great impact to the local music scene and thus led to a culminating show and party entitled, "Friday Night Acoustic on the Joe Phoenix Show, THE GATHERING". The show became one of the most sought after shows of that year, spawning new local Band greats. The show featured 13 (thirteen) Bands:

The culminating show had special participation of other band greats, JURESS and ACID BURN to name a few. Helping the local music industry has established him as one of the most respected name in the Philippine Radio Industry especially in the Visayas even to date. On December 2006, he had to jumpship to a new home with Monster Radio BT105.9 as UR105 was on the verge of changing format, thus, on January 2007, he started alongside with his old colleague Mark Pabilloña aka. Ryk Orion and the rest of the "Monsters" (as what jocks in Monster Radio are collectively called), his new show. A spill over still of his old show, this time around called, "Night Spectrums, with Joe Phoenix".

Joe Phoenix has always, even to date, ends his show with this quote, "....whatever YOU do today, make sure you don't REGRET things, TOMORROW!"
