Jima Francis

Jima Francis (born May 24, 1989), is a South Sudanese journalist and the managing director of King Media Limited. Jima is also the deputy chairperson for the Association of Media Development in South Sudan (AMDISS) as of 2024. On September 20, 2024, Jima Francis as the deputy chairperson for AMDISS led a delegation that visited the Office of the President of South Sudan to discuss the state of the media in South Sudan. He has previously served in other positions including as a Project Officer for the Journalists for Human Rights (JHR) in South Sudan. In April 2021, Jima as part of the JHR team trained journalists on human rights reporting on COVID-19, during the period of the Coronavirus. |
