Jim Wilhelmsen

Jim Wilhelmsen author, artist and ordained minister from the Independent Assemblies of God, was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 22, 1951 and is known by many in the Roswell, New Mexico area, as well as international ufology circles as an interventionist for persons who claim to have been abducted by aliens.
Unlike most other UFO researchers, Wilhelmsen identifies the origin of “aliens” by referring to ancient Biblical texts such as the Book of Enoch. His interpretation differs radically from the common belief that UFO’s are of extraterrestrial origin, and aligns with the identification of these beings as the “Watchers”, or fallen angels described in the Book of Enoch, as well as in the Bible itself.

An ordained minister, Wilhelmsen pioneered one of the first evangelical Christian motorcycle clubs in Detroit in the late 1970s and has been a member of MUFON since 1996 as a religious researcher.
In his book, Beyond Science Fiction (vii), Wilhelmsen describes a dream he had in January 1996 in which he sees an object that appears to be a UFO. He then watches as the object changes form, and listens to a voice informing him that the strange glyphs appearing within the object are actually Hebrew text, and that the answer to what he has encounters are found within the Bible. As a result of this dream he pursued the study and exposés of the UFO/Alien deception related to Bible Prophecy.
His beliefs led him to become a resident of Roswell, New Mexico, where he owned a bookstore and museum for 4 years before relocating back to his home state of Michigan.
From his experience in "deliverance" ministry, Wilhelmsen pioneered a means to help abductees terminate their unwanted experience. Working in conjunction with Dave Ruffino from Delusion Resistance P.A.A.P.S.I (Paranormal and Alien Abduction Problem Solvers International) was established as a networking organization. Membership includes other clergy and laypersons that provide follow up assistance for victims of unwanted paranormal activity.
The premise of their program, and the shared belief of the group, defines what is generally known as an “alien” being, rather than being an organic exo-planetary life form, is actually a spiritual being whose origins are, in fact, other dimensional and sinister in nature.
Wilhelmsen has appeared on many radio broadcasts, including “Coast to Coast with George Noory” (reference broadcast), in which he discussed his work with alien abductees, as well as his stance that UFOs are part of “end-times” deception, and that the technology for these craft was formulated with the help of the Nazis through occult practices to communicate with the non-human beings.
On his website, Wilhelmsen addresses many topics pertaining to the paranormal and their correlations to Scripture. He maintains that the Bible is a record of the entire human experience from start to end on this planet, including UFO sightings, abductions, and related phenomena. Wilhelmsen is not without detractors, however. After posting on his site an article on the 3 Frogs of Revelation and the Hidden History of America he received death threats from Militant Islamic individuals, Neo-Nazis and members of the Black Liberation movement.
He continues to speak, hosts discussion groups, and is known in the ufology communities for his published work as well as his collaborative efforts with others in this area of interest.
Wilhelmsen holds a degree in industrial management from Schoolcraft College and is an alumni from Central Bible College Detroit extension campus. As a troubled youth and member of the motorcycle club sub-culture, Jim did not graduate from high school, and obtained his G.E.D. high school equivalency diploma while serving in the US Army.
