Jim Greeninger

Jimmy Steven (Jim) Greeninger (born July 14, 1947 in Tacoma, Washington) is a multi-style guitarist playing classical, jazz, country, Latin, gospel, luthier (guitar builder) and inventor of many guitar related devices.
Biography
Greeninger lived and toured in the United States and abroad. He currently lives and performs in Branson, Missouri. He is the Music Minister for the Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, performs the Master Guitar Show in Branson, Missouri and tours with his Passion Music Tour.
Greeninger studied with Andrés Segovia from 1979 - 1986.
Honours
Jim Greeninger performed his solo debut at Carnegie Recital Hall September 15, 1980. He received and instant standing ovation. In October 1980, Dr. Peter Mennen invited Mr. Greeninger to be the first guitar instructor at the Juilliard School of Music in New York. Jim opted to not take the position because of his extensive touring schedule. Jim Greeninger is presently listed as one of the top five living acoustic guitarist in the world at WorldGuitarRankings.com. Jim currently has over 4,000,000 views on YouTube.com with his video of Recuerdos de la Alhambra.
