Tampa Bay Buccaneers
On May 6, 2013, Boyd was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Boyd was released on June 13, 2013.
Cincinnati Bengals
On August 1, 2013, Boyd was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals. On August 25, 2013, he was waived by the Bengals. He was then re-signed on September 1, 2013 only to be released later that day.
Kansas City Chiefs
On December 11, 2013, Boyd signed with the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad.
