Jessie Grundy (Born July 26 , 1990) is a US-based businessman known for founding The Peakz Co., an American social equity cannabis brand. Life and career Grundy was born to Oran Grundy and Nadine Grundy in Oakland, California. He went to 4 different high schools including Bishop O'Dowd High School, , San Leandro High School and Marriot Continuation School. After high school Grundy had mild success as a rapper named g5 the jett but suffered a major car accident that ended his music career due to a year long recovery. In 2018, Grundy heard about Oakland’s newly formed social equity program that gave half of the city licenses to people from the area’s most affected by the war on drugs in the city. In April 2019 he got his first retail order and later started his brand named "The Peakz Co". Since inception, The Peakz Co has been in over 50 dispensaries all over the state of California. In the first year of operation The Peakz Co generated over a million dollars in revenue. |
