Jessie Anderson is lead manufacturing engineer for Starlink. At SpaceX she serves as one of the Chairs for the Out & Allied Employee Interest Group, and is a Champion of the Outreach pillar in the SpaceX Production Diversity Council. Additionally, she often hosts SpaceX launch webcasts alongside other lead engineers such as John Insprucker. Before working at SpaceX she studied mechanical engineering at the University of California, Merced. Outside of SpaceX she creates music and goes by the stage name 'Who is Heartbreak.' Early life and education Jessie was born in San Diego, California. In 2010, Jessie graduated from the University of California, Merced, with her bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Career During her time in college, she founded the schools women's basketball team, the Science and Engineering Association and the campus chapter of the Society for Professional Hispanic Engineers.<ref name":1" /><ref name":0" /> Growing up she had wanted to play in the WNBA.<ref name=":2" /> Additionally she worked as an intern for two summers at Procter & Gamble.
