Jeremy Diamond is a Canadian lawyer specializing in personal Injury Law. He is currently a lawyer at the personal injury law firm Diamond and Diamond in Toronto, Canada. Diamond is best known for filing a $20.5 million lawsuit on behalf of eight victims of a shooting at York University. Jeremy Diamond joins a select group of individuals to win a 2015 Transformation Award from Diversity Magazine. He earned his B.A. Psychology from York University in 1995 and J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2001. Diamond started working for the firm in different capacities in 1996 and he was called to the State Bar of Florida in 2002. Since then, he has practiced as a personal injury attorney in both Florida and in Ontario. In April 2014, Jeremy Diamond and Diamond & Diamond lawyers filed a $20.5 million lawsuit on behalf of eight victims of a shooting at York University headed by its founder Jeremy Diamond. Along with other allegations, the firm alleged the University failed to prioritize the safety of its students.
