Jennifer Taylor (born June 15, 1956) is an French-American actress in film and television. She is best known for her film roles, and also best known as Police Det. Chris Egan on the American daytime television soap opera The Edge of Night from 1983 to 1984. Early life Taylor was born in Paris, France, but was raised in the United States. Acting career In 1983, Taylor began her acting career by appearing in an Hellman's mayonnaise television commercial. In the Spring of that year, she was cast as Police Det. Chris Egan on the American daytime television soap opera The Edge of Night, her first appearance on the soap was on May 25, 1983 and would remain playing that role until the soap's final episode on December 28, 1984. In the fall of 1983, Taylor played a soap opera actress in an ABC Afterschool Special: "It's No Crush, I'm in Love". In 1995, she played Karen Webb in the American thriller film "The Crube Oasis". Three years later (in 1998), Taylor played the role of Spoogle Girl #9 in the American comedy film "White Chicks, Incorporated". Personal life Taylor has been married to Francis Cave since October 4, 2008, and they have only one child.
