Jeff Saviano is an American Educator and EY Global Tax Innovation Leader who has taught tax and innovation courses at Suffolk University, Elon University School of Law and the Boston University School of Law. Early life and education Jeff was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and has completed his Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Iona College, and an (LL.M) Master of Laws in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. Achievements Jeff is a partner principal and a member of EY’s global innovation leadership team. In 2016, Jeff delivered a TEDx Talk in Brookline, Massachusetts based on idea that carbon tax could help mitigating effects of climate change. He is the founding member of The Prosperity Collaborative. Jeff is an MIT Connection Science Fellow and In 2018 with collaboration with MIT and Professor Alex Sandy Pentland, Jeff launched the EY global Advanced Technology Tax Lab network. Jeff is the host of the Better Innovation podcast. In October of 2020, Jeff joined New America as a Senior Fellow with the Digital Impact and Governance Initiative (DIGI). In 2021 Jeff was appointed by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo to the Trade Finance Advisory Council. Jeff is on the Editorial Advisory Board for Innovation Leader and Board Member of StreetCred.
