Jeff Millar

Jeff Millar (born September 24, 1973 in Markham, Ontario) is a consumer rights attorney in St. Louis, Missouri. After working in various firms building his practice for nearly a decade, Mr. Millar founded his own firm in 2011 to continue both advocating for consumers while at the same time, helping families through the turbulent times that complex family litigation can bring.
Millar was educated at the University of Detroit Mercy, Detroit, MI, the University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario and at Kingston, Ontario. He began his career defending workers' compensation insurance carriers then quickly moved to plaintiff's personal injury litigation, represented injured workers, railroaders and accident victims. Transferring his litigation skills, Millar transitioned into the complex litigation arena, beginning a nationwide class action practice representing doctors against various multi-national insurance companies seeking proper reimbursement for medical treatment. After successfully contributing to the settlement of a majority of these cases, Mr. Millar next focused on truly consumer oriented cases against national wireless carriers, traditional brick and mortar retailers and most recently, home video retailers.
Never one to back down from a challenge, Millar next found his representation of the "little guy" come close to home when two of his former firms became involved in litigation over Millar's cases and clients against him personally. While one of these cases remains pending, Millar fought the other, politically influential mogul, to a draw.
On January 5, 2011 Millar founded the Millar Law Firm, LLC to continue supporting working families and victims of consumer fraud.
