Jeff Colhoun is an American film director, author and photographer. His first two short documentaries were filmed in and around Mongolia's Darkhad Valley. Rally For Rangers and Darkhad Valley were featured in the Toronto Motorcycle Film Festival, Inkafest Mountain Film festival, the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival, Worldfest Houston International Film Festival, Kansas City Film Festival, and the International Festival of Outdoor Films. Colhoun was awarded a 2018 Telly Award, for the film Rally for Rangers. Colhoun has been named a travel influencer on Business Insider, and . Colhoun is a graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. Colhoun's photographic work has been published in the Los Angeles Times, , National Geographic, Vacations and Travel Magazine, Tech Advisor, Fstoppers and Business Insider. His first coffee table book book was published in mid 2019 and features images from 3 consecutive years in northern Mongolia. Colhoun is internationally known for his humanitarian work, contribution, non-profit advocacy, travel features and outdoor adventure shorts. His first film shot on the African continent; Operation International was filmed in the Ivory Coast has been featured at film festivals around the United States and Canada. The film follows a medical non profit's team of doctors providing healthcare to patients in the Ivory Coast.
