Jeet Gian (born 22 May, 1970 as Jitendra Thakurdas Gianchandani) is an Indian author, and the CEO and Chairman of Jitendra Consulting Group (JCG). He has penned two novels titled The 3 U-Turns of My Life and The Three Wise Monkeys. Early life Jeet Gian was born into a Sindhi family in Gandhidham, Kutch, Gujarat. He completed his schooling from Adarsh Maha Vidyalaya and received a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Tolani Commerce College, Adipur, Kutch. He passed his Chartered Accountancy exams in May 1996, and thereafter went to Dubai for a job in a leading audit firm, Talal Abu Gazaleh & Co. He, along with his wife Divya who is also a Chartered Accountant, set-up a small audit firm, later diversifying into Business Advisory, Trademark Registration, and Management Consultancy to form Jitendra Consultancy Group (JCG) with four offices, one each in Dubai, Jebel Ali Free Zone, Hamriyah Free Zone (Sharjah), and Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone. Jeet and Divya have two children, a daughter named Falguni and a son named Krishna. Literary career Jeet had never imagined himself as an author. He happened to read Chetan Bhagat’s novel 2 States while taking care of his son, Krishna, who was hospitalized for two months in the year 2011 and 2012. It inspired the writer in him, and his first book, The 3 U-Turns of My Life, was launched by Srishti Publishers three years later, in 2015. The book became a bestseller, with positive reviews from readers and critics alike. Jeet’s second book, The Three Wise Monkeys, was launched in September 2016 by Leadstart Publishing. While researching for this book, he came across the writing of American humorist author Dave Barry and knew he wanted to dabble in humour, even though the story of The Three Wise Monkeys revolves around offshore banking and black money. The formal launch of the book was attended by film directors Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, and David Dhawan. Currently, Jeet is working on his third book, a comedy of errors that revolves around the common practice of fabricating a bio-data with the intention of getting married. Literary works The 3 U-Turns of My Life The book revolves around the friendship of Manav Modi and Deepak Mehra. Although they are poles apart in terms of their personalities, they love the same girl, Urvashi. The book details how their destinies collide and highlights the professional rivalry between a CA and an MBA. The Three Wise Monkeys The novel provides an insight into the world of secret offshore companies and black money through the story of three CA friends - Amar, Akbar, and Anthony. The author uses humour to showcase their struggles and reveal the dark underbelly of offshore companies.
