Biography Jeebsion or his name Muhammad Najib Abdul Mukthi is a photographer currently with a contract with Kedah FA photographing football related matches and events for the organization. Born on the 25th of may 1979 in Alor Setar, Kedah Darul Aman, Malaysia. Jeebsion is 2nd from all 5 siblings - Nadiah Abdul Mukthi, Muhammad Nasfi Abdul Mukthi, Muhammad Najmi Abdul Mukthi and Nabila Abdul Mukthi. Both of his parents are retired government servant - Abdul Mukthi Abdullah, a mayor, and Zaleha Abdul Hamid, a highschool principal. Academic Life Jeebsion attended the primary school, Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Uda located in Alor Setar when he was 6 in the year of 1986. He scored straight As in his UPSR examination before entering Sultan Abdul Hamid College (SAHC, Alor Setar) in the year 1992. After scoring 7As and 1B in Penilaian Menengah Rendah examination when he was a form 3 student, Jeebsion was accepted to MARA Junior Science College in Beseri, Perlis. Boarding school seems to be a life changing situation back then for him as he failed to perform well academically. His mother asked for a transfer back to his previous school, SAHC in Alor Setar. In his final year, he managed to secure 1st grade for his Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia result. Jeebsion entered Kolej Damansara Utama (KDU College)to persue his BSc in Computing and Information Systems, a 3+0 programme with University of Lincolnshire and Humberside. Professional Life Whilst studying for his BSc, Jeebsion is also working for the college as a network administrator. He helped to redesign the network infrastructure for both campuses, Penang and Petaling Jaya. He then worked for Shell Services International (then changed name to Shell IT International), a subsidiary of Shell Oil Company as a network engineer, leading network infrastructure upgrade projects in Asia Pacific. Being 21, he was the youngest employee at that time. Soon after, he changed his job to serve a conglomerate holdings in Malaysia, the Albukhary Group of Companies owned by a Malaysian billionaire, Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary as a project manager, leading IT projects across the group of companies. Having stayed for quite a while in Kuala Lumpur, Jeebsion decided to return back to Alor Setar after being offered the same position in a state-owned IT company, Kedah ICT Holdings. The company, having been driven political powers, once another political transfer happened in the state of Kedah in March, 2008, Jeebsion decided to move forward on his own IT endeavor. Creative Works & Photography Jeebsion has been into photography ever since he's 16. He started off by taking photographs of his friends and family as a hobby. Nevertheless, such hobby brought him up to being one of the most prominent photographers in the state of Kedah. One could practically see Jeebsion mostly at the Darul Aman Stadium in Alor Setar covering football matches all year long. Jeebsion is well-known for his sports photography among many Kedahans. Since Kedah FA does not own a web portal (at the point of writing this), Jeebsion shares more of his sports photographs via his blog at Jeebsion.Com. The blog has been recognized as a must-see among many other football related website in Malaysia. In early 2009, Jeebsion teamed up with Incarnation, a local band originated from Kedah to produce a song called Untukmu Penyokong. The song derived from an astonishing piece of Nickelback's Gotta Be Somebody. He personally wrote the lyric. The clip has been aired before the match with Kelantan on the 4th of April '09. It was somewhat born from the hard times the team was going through initiating the 2009 football season. Jeebsion hoped that it could touch the many football fans in Kedah in keeping to support the team no matter what condition the team is in - regardless of winning or losing. RTM (Radio Televisyen Malaysia) instantaneously recognize the effort to feature Jeebsion in a sports TV programme called Sekilas Liga Malaysia. Apart from sports, Jeebsion is also famous for his many strobist shots, mainly among photographers. He likes to experiment with types of lighting equipment and shape them from time to time to develop variety of ideas not necessarily for the sake of photography assignments. At times, Jeebsion will hold photography outings among his friends for fun. This is where he shares his knowledge or even enhances them whilst practicing new techniques at the outings. As he is quite easily approachable, Jeebsion always believe that sharing is a gifted mechanism in regards to enhance our everyday lives.
