Sri Vittal Rukmini Mandir With the divine blessings of Sri Vittal Sri Rukmini Devi, Dakshina Halasyam Sri Gnanananda Giri Peedathipathi Sri Haridhos Giri Swamigal and Paranur Mahathma Sri Krishna Premi Swamigal, Brahmashri Vittaldas Maharaj has completed the construction of the new temple for Sri Pandurangan and Sri Rukmini Devi at Sri Vittal Rukmini Samsthan premises. The new temple is in North Indian, Maharashtrian style architecture (Hemandapanthi) with 132 ft Gopuram, Garbhagruham (Sanctum Sanctorum), Ardhamandapam, Vasanthamandapam, Mahamandapam and Mahadwaram. The temple is the biggest temple made for Lord Vittal and his consort Sri Rukmini Devi. This temple was possible only because of Sri Sri Vittaldas Maharaj's grit and his dream to achieve. He has spent 20 years of his life to achieve this project. He has done this in a way not achieved by anyone. Nowadays anyone can build a temple. This temple's pride lies in the way the money was collected. He has never asked directly to anyone for money, all the money was collected by doing Namasankeerthanam in different places. He was hardworking and has sung in so many halls even with many throat problems. He has never touched a penny for himself or his family. All the money that arrived was invested in the temple. That is why the temple majestically come over many other temples in this world. Another point to be noted is that he has never taken a penny in an illegal way.
