Jayachandran P R

P R Jayachandran (Paravanparambil Rajakumar Jayachandran, born in 13 March 1987) is an Indian marine ecologist. He is currently working as Senior Researcher in Cochin University of Science and Technology. Jayachandran has more than 33 research articles to his credit .
Education and Career
After completing undergraduate in Aquaculture and graduate in Marine Biology, Jayachandran pursuing his PhD in Marine Sciences (Marine Biology) at the Department of Marine Biology, Microbiology and Biochemistry, School of Marine Sciences, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) <ref name="auto1" />. He has participated in Indian Arctic Expedition to Ny-Alesund, Svalbard during the year 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018. As of 2018, Jayachandran has published over 14 peer-reviewed papers (with ~57 citations) in journals in taxonomy and conservation science including Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies for Global Change, Marine Biodiversity, Regional Studies in Marine Science and Zootaxa <ref name="auto" />.
