Jay Emmanuel-Thomas (born 27 December 1990 in Forest Gate, London) is an English footballer who plays for Arsenal and is a versatile midfielder. Career Emmanuel-Thomas has been at the club since 2002 and has regularly featured in Academy and Reserve games. In the 2007/2008 season, he signed profesional terms with the club on July, 31st 2007. He ended that season with 39 appearances at Academy and Reserve team levels. After a very successful campaign Emmanuel-Thomas was named captain of the U'18's squad. He is yet to make a competitive debut for Arsenal but has played for the club friendly games including a 2-1 win over Huddersfield Town in the Herbert Chapman cup and a 1-1 draw with Sevilla in the Amsterdam Tournament which Arsenal went on to win. . On the 23rd of September Emmanuel-Thomas was an unused substitute in 6-0 thrashing of Sheffield United |
