Javier Pérez (soccer coach)

Javier Pérez (born 16 May 1977) is a Spanish football coach who holds a UEFA Pro Licence from the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and a UEFA A Licence from The Football Association (The FA).
Background
He was a development coach with Real Madrid, the , assistant coach of the United States men's national soccer team working under Jürgen Klinsmann and the United States men's national under-20 soccer team.
In December 2015, he was named assistant coach of New York City FC working under Patrick Vieira. After Patrick Vieira departure he was named assistant coach to Domènec Torrent with New York City FC.
Pérez wrote the U.S. Soccer Coaching Curriculum with Claudio Reyna.
