Jason Thanh La

Jason Thanh La is an American entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and CEO and founder of Merchant Service Group LLC, a payment processing company headquartered in Huntington Beach, California.
Entrepreneurship
As an entrepreneur, Thanh La periodically funds early-stage Southern California tech companies, and he is also a partner with seeding companies Crosscut Ventures and .
Crosscut Venture's portfolio includes companies such as DermStore.com, which was acquired by Target in August 2013, ShoeDazzle, which Crosscut funded for less than $10 million and now is valued at more than $200 million, and JustFab, which is considered to have $1 billion potential valuation.
Thanh La is also a director with the Harvard Business School Association of Orange County and is the program chair of the 2015 HBSAOC New Venture Program for entrepreneurship.
Career
In addition to owning Merchant Service Group LLC, Thanh La also leads the company in business strategy and product development. Since the company's inception, Merchant Service Group LLC has increased its services nationwide, and in 2014, Thanh La secured an "eight-figure investment” from an acquirer in Woodlands, Texas to expand operations. Prior to establishing Merchant Service Group LLC, Thanh La was a consultant at several Internet start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. He delivered application development and large scale integration projects for clients such as CNF’s Con-way, Emery Worldwide, and DirecTV.
