Born January 15, 1974, Jason Steinberg is a pioneer of digital marketing and online production.
Jason is currently director for Spark Communications, a full-service media agency with a digital core owned by Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG), a Publicis Groupe Company.
From 2006 to March 2008, Jason was Digital Director for Carat Australia , and the Global Account Director for the Asia Pacific region of the Isobar Communications. Based in the Sydney, Australia offices of the largest world-wide network of digital agencies, his duties include the oversight of global accounts, most notably Tourism Australia, the development of new business and the championing of digital strategies for both the client and agency alike.
Prior to joining Isobar, Jason Steinberg was the Theatrical Account Manager for Warner Bros. Online where he oversaw the development of some of the most popular entertainment and marketing destinations on the internet including Harry Potter Online, Scooby-Doo Online and many others. During his tenure, he spearheaded the development of innovative and award-winning digital programs including advertising, viral, mobile and websites for Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Independent, Warner Bros. Television, Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Bros. International.
Before Warner Bros., Jason Steinberg worked for the online division of the video game publisher Electronic Arts where he was a network producer for groundbreaking titles including “The Sims Online”, “”, the release of EA.com and the subsequent integration of Pogo. These and other products have become icons in social gaming.
Jason’s talent in digital production was showcased as a Producer for New York based , where he released some of the first interactive streaming video programs the world had seen including “Hot Pix”, “The Joey Berlin Show”, “Fast Film Fest” and others.
In 2002 Jason founded FinanceGrrl, a network of financial advisers and in 2001 founded the boutique web-shop Fuel9000 which continues to service clients to this day.
Jason Steinberg married Michele Ann Vander Ploeg April 20, 2002.
