Jarid Siegel

Jarid Siegel is an American collegiate athlete. He played soccer for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Cornell University men's team and served as a co-captain of the team in 2007 and 2008.
Siegel began his soccer career in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where he played for the Seacoast United. Siegel was a three-sport athlete at , earning four letters in soccer in addition to two each in lacrosse and basketball. He was a two-time all-league honorable mention selection in soccer and was named to the all-league first team while also serving as his squad’s captain. He was also the captain of his club team, Seacoast United, for five years, during which they won three state championships and captured the 2003 Super-Y League title. He was named to the Super-Y League U17 Region I ODP (Olympic Development Program) team in 2004.
He joined the Cornell men's squad in 2004, when he started in nine of 16 games. After the 2005 season, he suffered a knee injury that forced him to miss the 2006 and 2007 seasons. After the 2006 season, he was named as a co-captain with Kyle Lynch and Aaron Vieira in 2007. He returned to the field for the 2008 season, sharing the captainship with David Browning, Dan McKallagat, and Joe Yonga.
