Jannik Giger (born 1985) is a Swiss composer and video artist. Life and work Jannik Giger studied composition at the conservatories of Basel, Luzern and Bern under Dieter Ammann, Erik Oña, Michel Roth and Daniel Weissberg. His output ranges form cinematographic single and multi-channel video works to instrumental and mixed media chamber and orchestral pieces and compositions for theatre and radio plays. Giger's work has been presented internationally at, amongst others, Wigmore Hall London, National Centre for the Performing Arts Peking, Tonhalle Zürich, San Francisco Center for New Music, Gare du Nord Basel, St. Petersburg Contemporary Music Center, Klangwerkstatt Berlin or Shanghai Oriental Art Center.
