Jannatul Nayeem Avril (born September 4, 1997) is a Bangladeshi model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Miss Bangladesh 2017 but shortly afterward she was declared ineligible due to previously being married. Jessia Islam then became Miss Bangladesh 2017.
Early life
Jannatul Nayeem Amenah/Avril was born in September 12, 1997, in Chittagong, Bangladesh. She is known to be quite passionate about motorbikes. She was born to Taher Mia and Reziya Begum in 1997. She passed her SSC examination from Barama Trahi Menaka High School in 2013 and her HSC examination from a college in Cox's Bazar. She moved to Dhaka afterwards.
Jannatul learned to ride motorbikes from her uncle when she was only 14. Afterwards, she gained expertise in bike riding and turned herself into an idol as a female bike rider.
Career
Jannatul Nayeem Avril/Amenah is a Bangladeshi model who is best known as a lady biker of the country. She came to the spotlight across the country after winning the title of Miss Bangladesh 2017.
Miss World Bangladesh incident
Jannatul Nayeem Avril/Amenah won the Miss World Bangladesh crown on October 2, 2017, but later it was found that she falsified her personal information about marital status. She got married on 21st of March, 2013, but the marriage lasted only for two and a half months. This information led to a controversy and debate among people of Bangladesh as by the rules and regulations of the contest, which states currently or previously married women cannot participate in the competition. Jessia Islam replaced her as Miss World Bangladesh 2017, on a unified decision.
Personal life
According to Prothom Alo, Jannatul Nayeem married a costume businessman, Mohammad Monjur Uddin on March 21, 2013. After two months of being together the couple divorced.
