"Jank" is a genre of music, classified as a subgenre of Pop music for the new millennium. Characteristics The sound of the Jank genre is described as "guitar-driven pop" and "a guitar melting pot of genres to make one.” Jank is known for being “a guitar-driven style of music in the pop pantheon” that is considered visual and cinematic. History "Jank" music was originally established globally by "The Brigade" in early 2000s. It was expanded with the addition of Tilky Jones to form the group Tilky & The Brigade in the late 2000s, and continued to be developed in the 2010s by Casely and The Jank . |
