Jamilé Ghaddar ran as the Marxist-Leninst Party of Canada candidate in the Ancaster—Dundas—Flamborough—Westdale riding. Jamile previously ran as an independent in the 2003 Ontario Provincial Election and as a Marxist-Leninist in the 2004 Canadian Federal Election. She was the youngest candidate to run in the aforementioned riding; furthermore, she was the only female. She currently attends McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Quotes "From my experience organizing on questions of politics both on campus, in the community and across Canada, I realized that people cannot rely on the major parties to represent them or defend their interests.
