James "Jamie" Rickers (born 21 May 1974, Chelmsford, Essex) briefly was an English television presenter, known to some children as the co-presenter of GMTV's Toonattik, who now works in sales. Early life Jamie was born in Chelmsford, Essex, and grew up in Burnham-on-Crouch. TV career In 2000, Rickers joined GMTV. He presented GMTV's Sunday kids' show Up on the Roof until February 2005 when Toonattik was launched, with Rickers as co-host. The last show was broadcast on 9 May 2010. In 2016, he announced that he had started working at Volopa as a Sales Consultant, effectively announcing the end of his television career. |
