James Barth is an American audio engineer and music producer/composer. Born in Tulsa Oklahoma, Barth moved to Los Angeles after high school with his band-mates Bill Pitcock, Phil Seymour and Dwight Twilley in hopes of starting a career in the music business. Working with the Dwight Twilley Band at Shelter Records studios, Barth was an interracial part of the bands early days. Barth's recording credits include The Dwight Twilley Band, Phil Seymour, The Bridge Climbers, Dick Simms and others. Barth arranged and recorded strings for recording artist Dwight Twilley, Dwight Yoakam, Heather Myles and Dick Simms.
