Jakob Aungiers

Jakob Aungiers (born 14 January 1991), more commonly known as Jacob is a photographer and skydiver. He has been mentioned in the Telegraph national newspaper as well as special-interest magazines. Specialising in Fashion and Glamour photography, he has won the international title of Environmental Photographer of the Year 2008 (under 21) as well as several regional competitions. He has competed at the BCPA (British Collegiate Parachute Association) National Skydiving Championships three times (2010-2012) winning a gold medal at the 2011 event and has competed in the A Category (3rd tier) of the 2012 British National Championships in Formation Skydiving.
Personal life and education
Jakob was born in Neuburg an der Donau, Germany to two Czech parents.
Between the ages of 11-16 Jakob attended Cams Hill Secondary School in Fareham. It is during this time that he won the 2006 IBM Website Challenge competition.
Upon leaving secondary school at the age of 16 with 13 GCSE's, Jakob enrolled at Barton Peveril College in Eastleigh for two years. During the time there he discovered his passion in Photography and won several local as well as an international competition.

In 2008 Jakob won the title of Environmental Photographer of the Year (under 21) and was featured in the Telegraph.
