Jake Kennedy, a former talent agent, is an entrepreneur and talent manager. In his time as an agent, he represented Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler, Colin Hay, Steve Holy, Jason Michael Carroll, and others. Career Booking Agent In 2008 Kennedy joined New Frontier Touring in Nashville where he signed artists such as Sammy Kershaw. After a little more than two years at New Frontier Touring, Kennedy moved to Buddy Lee Attractions in 2010 bringing Kershaw and several other clients. During his time there he signed artists such as Steve Holy and Trent Tomlinson. In May 2013 he joined Creative Artists Agency (CAA) as an agent in the music touring department. During his time at the agency, he represented artist such as Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler, Michael Tyler, and Walker County. In January 2018 Kennedy joined United Talent Agency's Nashville office. His departure immediately followed the departure of three other agents - Scott Clayton, Matthew Morgan, and Buster Phillips - who moved to Nashville office. Talent manager In June of 2019, in a Music Row Magazine article, it became public Kennedy had moved into management and had negotiated a record deal for Sykamore with Music Knox Records/Broken Bow Records/BMG.
