Jafilia

Jafilia is a Free and Open Source software. An Affiliate program creator and affiliate network manager for Joomla and VirtueMart that allows Joomla! and VirtueMart site owners to create affiliate campaigns and manage a network of affiliates with ease. It is delivered in the form of a Joomla! component or extension. Jafilia is written in PHP and makes use of Javascript and Ajax.
History
Jafilia is the result of a discussion thread started on December 1, 2007 at the VirtueMart forums titled "VM affiliates for 28$" where a group of VirtueMart users that where, concerned with the lack of an Open Source Affiliate Manager for Virtuemart agreed to rise funds to start up the project.
Version 1.0 RC2 is considered stable and was released on Friday, 12 September 2008
The 1.5 version with Joomla 1.5 native support and compliant with virtuemart 1.3 was released on 1 July 2009.
Features
Jafilia provides easy affiliation procedures using either Joomla! or VirtueMart registration processes.
The site administrator can track every affiliate activity, approve fees and deliver payments from inside the Joomla! administrator interface.
Both, administrators and users can take a fast preview of the program activity by entering the charts section.
Jafilia supports text links, banners and media rich adverts.
Because Jafilia is an open source Affiliate solution, licensed under the GPL license, all the application code is openly visible in PHP. This allows PHP developers to view, update or customize the operation of the affiliate program as well as to fork or redistribute the source code.
Requirements
Jafilia is a plugin or component for Joomla! and Mambo, it has the same system requirements, which are currently:
Joomla! 1.0.x or Mambo (>= 4.5.1) recommended: Joomla! 1.5.x and PHP 4.2.x or above - recommended: PHP 4.4.x
MySQL 3.23.x or above -recommended: MySQL 4.0.x
Apache 1.13.19 or above -recommended: Apache 2.x
Several other required supporting libraries or extensions include MySQL, XML and Zlib support built into PHP. Support for https (openSSL) and cURL is recommended.
Compatibility
The latest version of Jafilia, that is Jafilia 1.5, is compatible with Joomla 1.5.x Natively and with Virtuemart 1.1.3
