History
Aqua CMS is an opensource content management system developed by LTS Media Ltd and is available under the GPL license. It started out as WidgetSprocket in 2001 by a company Easyzone Ltd and was taken over by LTS Media Ltd in November 2007. LTS Media then subsequently redeveloped the user interface to suit their clients needs and also rebranded it as Aqua CMS.
Version 1 of the rebuilt system was released in the beginning for April 2008. The official sourceforge.net pages went live on the 23rd of April with the system freely available for download.
