Jadoo TV is a portable media player as a set top box that can be used to watch video content and streaming tv channels available on internet directly on the TV. It is a re-branded Netgear ITV2000. It requires a broadband internet connection and no Satellite or cable connection or computers required. These boxes are getting common these days as these portable devices connect internet directly to TV and one can see videos from Youtube or torrent sites directly onto their HDTVs. It includes a 100Mbps Ethernet port for internet connection and two USB ports. Also there are RCA Cable, S-Video and HDMI ports for connection with the TV set. Chaning channels is a huge hassle with Jadoo TV compared to regular. It needs to buffer before an channel can be viewed. Supported Codecs Jadoo Box support a number of popular video and audio codecs Video Codecs Jadoo TV Box can decode WMV video codec only. Any other codec and it will not work on TV, might still work on your computer. Audio Codecs Jadoo TV Box can decode WMA, MP3 and AACaudio codecs. Jadoo TV Box can play flv, AVI, ASF and WAV container formats. It supports both SD and HD resolutions.
