Jacob Crasta

<nowiki/>Dr. Jacob Crasta is an Indian entrepreneur, speaker, founder and Chairman of , an environmental test chamber manufacturing company.
Early life
Crasta was born in 1951 to Baptist and Sabina Crasta near Kinnigoli in Mangaluru. He completed his post graduation in Organic Chemistry from the University of Mysore in 1974.
Career
Crasta began his career as a lecturer. Subsequently, he worked as a Senior Sales Executive in Mumbai.
Honors
* On 13 May 2017 the Karnataka Region Economic Trade Organisation, awarded him the Kreto Business Leadership Award.
* On 2 December 2016, The Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI), awarded him the Siati Award as Lifetime Achievement and Services Award for his utmost contributions towards developing and nurturing an innovation based industry in the Aerospace and Defence sector.
* On 24 September 2016, CCCI, Mumbai conferred him with the Industry Excellence Award.
* The FKCA i.e. Federation of Konkani Catholic Association on 1 February 2015, conferred an Award called Professional Excellence Award
* FKCA Lifetime Achievement Award, 2014-15.
* On 11 December 2011, received an award called Karavali Siri by then Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri Sadananda Gowda.
