</br> </br> </br> </br> </br> </br> </br> Jacko (born Jaakko Turunen) is the Finnish lead singer of a new, London based rock band [http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Black-Room/104528599621189?ref=ts#!/pages/The-Black-Room/104528599621189?sk=wall The Black Room]. </br>He is known for his amazing vocal range of four octaves and his dark, esoteric lyrics.</br> </br> Before The Black Room, Jacko was the front man of a Helsinki underground band called Spiritraiser (2005-2010) </br> which gained some fame in Finland and Germany by touring actively and winning the band competition </br> "Emergenza Music Festival" and by placing second in "Radio Rock Starba" band competition in 2009 </br> </br> Their fierce live shows at the annual Trash Fest III gained the media's attention and a German rock magazine "Stalker" </br> chose Spiritraiser as the fresh act of the month in April 2010. They also featured Spiritraiser's only release, a single </br> "Apollo's Child" on their front page. </br> </br> Jacko's new band The Black Room consists of seasoned players such as </br> Ben Christo of Sisters of Mercy and Daniele Panza of Achilla</br> </br> Their first live show is set to be played at the Trash Fest IV in Helsinki, Finland on March 31st, 2011.</br> Around the same time they will be releasing their debut EP "The Black Room"
