J Barry Grenga (born c. 1970) is an American Producer known for the award winning film "Slow Dancin' Down The Aisles Of The Quickcheck". He served as the films Producer, Unit Production Manager, Post-Production Supervisor and Co-Editor. The film from Florida State University College Of Motion Picture Arts was the first MFA Thesis film at FSU Film School to win an Academy Award & also to concurrently win both an Academy Award & Emmy Award. To date no other MFA film from FSU College Of Motion Picture Arts has received both awards. During pre-production Grenga networked with Mr. Olney and urged Kodak to supply free film stock allowing the film production an advantage of shooting at a much increased and, professional shooting ratio. At the 26th Annual Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Student Academy Awards on June 1999 Thomas Wade Jackson was awarded in the Narrative category as Director of "Slow Dancin' Down the Aisles of the Quickcheck".
