History'
The IXI project began as an experimental branch of the Orangetrips project by Karthik and Jaya k, and it was released as a beta version for Microsoft Windows on March 1, 2013. In India ixi pays the amount for using the wed browser (pay per click) and cost per click.(Pay-per-click (PPC) is an internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, in which advertisers pay the publisher (typically a website owner) when the ad is clicked. Farris et al. have defined it simply as “the amount spent to get an advertisement clicked) Earn money by browse, Earn by search (Browse any page & Search anything) And ixi is faster than any Web browser in ixi 1000+ Preloaded websites and 5000+ Shopping Deals
Security
IXI uses a sandbox security model and limits scripts from accessing data from other web sites based on the same origin policy. It uses SSL/TLS to protect communications with web servers using strong cryptography when using the HTTPS protocol. It also provides support for web applications to use smartcards for authentication purposes.
IXI periodically retrieves updates of two blacklists (one for phishing and one for malware), and warns users when they attempt to visit a harmful site. This service is also made available for use by others via a free public API called "IXI Safe Browsing API".
Privacy
The private browsing feature called Incognito mode prevents the browser from permanently storing any history information or cookies from the websites visited.
Desktop shortcuts and apps
IXI allows users to make local desktop shortcuts that open web applications in the browser. The browser, when opened in this way, contains none of the regular interface except for the title bar, so as not to "interrupt anything the user is trying to do". This allows web applications to run alongside local software
