Ivan Sokolov, also known as Ivan Trotsky, (born December 9, 1982 in Odessa, Soviet Union) is a major in the Russian and North Caucasian military. He was a Russian secret hero in the Second Chechen War. He is also one of the best snipers in Russia . He grew up in Iraq but in 1999 he returned to Russia to serve Russia and fight against terror in Chechnya. He played a great role in this war and he was the only Russian agent to infiltrate the Arab Mujahideen in Chechnya grupe led by ibn al-Khattab and send information to the Russian army about the Chechnyan military. He also played a great role in killing ibn al-Khattab on 19/20 March 2002. He also known as an anti-imperialist.
