Iurie Boreico (born November 17, 1988, in , Moldova) is a Moldovan mathematician. He is one of the most successful participants in the history of the International Mathematical Olympiad, having won three gold medals, including two perfect scores, in the years 2004 to 2006 and two silver medals in 2003 and 2007. In 2005, he was also awarded a special prize for an outstanding solution. He currently attends Harvard University and will graduate in 2011. He helped the school to win the William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition two consecutive years. In fall 2011 he will join Department of Mathematics, Stanford University, for Ph.D. graduate studies.
